Mentally Challenged Player Gets Heart-Touching Assist From Member of Opposing Team [VIDEO]

We hear a lot of bad stuff in the news today - about the worst of human nature....greed.....hatred.....a me-first society.....disrespectful youth. In sports too often times we see  a win-at-all-cost mentality. How refreshing it is to see the good in people, in youth, and in sports.

This is an amazing story about a mentally challenged young man, the manager of  a high school basketball team, who was given the chance to play in the game by a coach who was willing to risk losing the game by putting the young man in at the end of the game. And then the youth is given the  chance to score a basket - by a member of the opposing team! Yes, there are still good people in the world today. I want to be one of them.
