Colorado McDonald's Employees Surprised By Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey spent the holidays in Aspen, Colorado, and even spread some Christmas cheer to some unsuspecting fans.

If you weren't aware, Mariah Carey teamed up with McDonald's this holiday season for 12 days of deals with her very own exclusive Mariah Menu.

“Mariah goes with the holidays like ketchup and fries, so we couldn’t think of a better partner to help us celebrate the upcoming season,” said Jennifer Healan, Vice President, U.S. Marketing, Brand Content and Engagement of McDonald’s USA.

“Just like McDonald’s brings people around the table with their favorite orders, Mariah’s music connects us all during this time of the year. We’re so excited to team up to bring even more holiday cheer to our fans.”

Just like a few other celebrities, it's reported that each year Mariah loves to spend Christmas in Aspen, Colorado. Of course, this year Mariah followed that tradition with her 10-year-old twins Monroe and Morrocan and even brought along her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka.

Mariah Surprises Colorado McDonald's Employees

On December 23, Mariah and her team decided to do something extra special for the McDonald's employees at one lucky location in Aspen, Colorado.

First Mariah and her crew pulled up to the drive-thru, where Mariah's daughter Monroe used her best impersonation techniques to put in a fake order. The employees are understandably frustrated and ask that she "leave and never come back again."

Meanwhile, Mariah had her assistants inside the restaurant pretending to try to order with Brazilian accents for the ultimate distraction.

Finally, Mariah makes her grand entrance donning a stunning full-length red gown, which is very similar to the one she wears in the McDonald's commercial.

To say those workers were shocked is definitely an understatement!

The Christmas queen was incredibly sweet and took photos with the employees and other fans.

"Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the Cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,” said Mariah Carey.

“Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”
