It seems like so much stuff is still up in the air for the remainder of 2020. Are we going to have a normal Halloween in less than two weeks, well what is normal anyway? In all seriousness, things went sideways as soon as you heard the Center for Disease Control come out with their recommendation to not have kids go trick-or-treating as it could lead to a rise in confirmed coronavirus cases.

Getting dressed up on Halloween and going door to door trick-or-treating is one of the most fun activities on a holiday for kids. Plus the sugar high from eating too much candy before going to bed. But whether you're trick-or-treating or not on Halloween you can still have fun the night before Halloween in Delta as they celebrate Main Street Trick-or-Treat.

This is only the 2nd annual event being put on by the Delta Area Chamber of Commerce and the Delta Police Department. Masks are required for attendance, and everyone is being asked to follow the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment guidelines when it comes to public areas.

The event will be from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on October 30th with all activities taking place outside this year.

If you're experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 or have been exposed to a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 you're being asked to skip this event for the safety of others.

If you want to know more about the event here are the details that were posted by the Delta Police Department.
