Colorado Town Bringing Wonderful ’12 Days of Christmas’ Display for 2023 Holidays
To think that this display was just sitting around, on the verge of being discarded, when a last-minute call saved it for Loveland, brings holiday joy.
When it seemed like the annual holiday lighting display that happens at Loveland's Dwayne Webster Veteran's Memorial Park wouldn't be happening, here comes great news.
Things may look different than in years past, but the holidays will be "on."
Loveland's Winter Holiday Council has, for over 30 years, been putting up holiday light displays at Dwayne Webster Park.
Generations of local families have taken pride in the fact that the "holiday lights by the lake" have helped to make the town look merry.
In November of 2022, however, the Council announced that they wouldn't be putting up those lights at Dwyane Webster Park, nor at the nearby South Shore Scenic Parkway, due to a lack of volunteers.
With the 2023 holiday season approaching, the City of Loveland announced that Dwayne Webster Park would indeed see a holiday display, once again.
According to the City of Loveland, this "12 Days of Christmas" display coming to Dwayne Webster Park may not have happened if it were not for the sale of the Outlets of Loveland, which is now Loveland Yards.

The display, that the Outlets must have used on occasion, was being stored at the Outlets. The owner of the Outlets called Visit Loveland to see if they would want the display, as the Outlets were preparing to be sold.
Visit Loveland said, "Yes!"
Now, Visit Loveland, the Winter Holiday Council, and the City of Loveland Parks & Recreation Department have all come together to make this happen.
WHEN WILL THE '12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS' DISPLAY BE HAPPENING IN LOVELAND?
