Today Linkin Park announced they will perform a one-night-only tribute to their late frontman Chester Bennington. Bennington took his own life on July 20.

It's unclear what the future holds for the band in the long-term, but they will honor Bennington at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 27. Dubbed "Linkin Park and Friends," many other artists will join them to honor the life and work of their friend and bandmate. The show will raise money for Music for Relief's One More Light Fund in memory of Bennington.

The band also released a video directed by Joe Hahn for "One More Light," the title track of their latest record, which you can watch above. It features footage of Bennington on and off stage. "'One More Light' was written with the intention of sending love to those who lost someone.

"We now find ourselves on the receiving end," Linkin Park's guitarist and songwriter Mike Shinoda said in a statement. "In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated towards this song as their declaration of love and support for the band and the memory of our dear friend, Chester. We are so very grateful and can’t wait to see you again."

Hahn added, "It has been incredibly emotional to work on this, and especially to watch it. I feel that by doing it, we not only faced some of our biggest fears, but it enabled us to use our talents to bring some light to people that need it. As we move forward to the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people that connect with the band, outside and inside our circle. This video is a gesture of good will to the people that want that connection."

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Sept. 22 at 10 AM Pacific. Members of the Linkin Park fan club, LP Underground, will get a first crack at them on Sept. 19 at noon. Visit the band's website for more details.

Earlier today, Bennington's widow, Talinda, shared video of her late husband and their children that was taken only a few days before his death. She did it to show people that depression doesn't always come with easily identifiable signs.
