I finally had some free time to go exploring over the weekend and I took the opportunity to head up towards the top of the Grand Mesa for the first time.

A sunny day without much widespread wildfire smoke can be hard to come by, so when I saw that bright blue clear sky on Sunday, I knew it was the right day to go up for a visit.

You can see the Colorado National Monument, the Book Cliffs, Mount Garfield, all of Grand Junction, and more from almost anywhere at the observatory.
