Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Collaborations: The Featured Acts of ‘Lust For Life’
Slow-burner extraordinaire Lana Del Rey has brought good to her lonely life.
Besides an appearance on The Weeknd's Beauty Behind the Madness a few years back and some unreleased demos featuring A$AP Rocky, Lana isn't usually one for duets: Born to Die, Paradise, Ultraviolence, and 2015’s excellent Honeymoon were all solitary affairs. It makes sense, then, that she’d want some star power bolstering her fifth major release.
The Queen of Coney Island has more than delivered with Lust For Life, squaring up with everyone from a rock n’ roll legend to a rapidly rising member of 2017 XXL’s Freshman Class, along with verses from The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky.
The combination shows her range as a performer, weaving seamlessly between trap beats and the languid, moody music she’s become known for — at least, if the two latest songs she dropped this week are any indication.
With Lust For Life out next week (Jul. 21), we’ve broken down the star-studded collaborations on Lana’s new album. Scroll through above.
