Kristen Stewart, who publicly announced she was gay earlier this year and is currently dating model Stella Maxwell, said she's still open to dating men as part of a confused mixed-metaphor centered on sandwiches she offered to the UK's Harper's Bazaar

In the magazine's September cover story, Stewart noted she's "totally" open to the idea of a heterosexual relationship in the future if the opportunity feels genuine.

"Some people know they like grilled cheese and they'll eat it every day for the rest of their lives," she said. "I want to try everything. If I have grilled cheese once I'm like, 'That was cool, what's next?'"

And Stewart resents the idea that flexible sexuality means one or more of relationships may have been insincere. This, she insists, is not the case.

"I've been deeply in love with everyone I've dated," she noted. "Did you think I was faking it? I've always really embraced a duality. And really, truly, believed in it and never felt confused or struggling. I just didn't like getting made fun of."

After intense speculation that Stewart wasn't exclusively interested in men, the actress said during a February 2017 Saturday Night Live hosting gig "I'm so gay, dude" in a monologue directed at Donald Trump, who had previously mocked her relationship with Robert Pattinson.
