Katy Perry Shouts Out Orlando Bloom With Pet Name in Tokyo Concert
Are Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom officially back together? Perry delivered some affirming evidence at her March 27 concert in Tokyo.
During the show, Perry dedicated a performance of "Into Me You See" to Bloom, and made the honor extra special by using a pet name.
The song includes the lyrics "Then you came and started digging for a treasure underneath / And you found a better version of me I had never seen."
Perry told fans she “felt very loved. And this next song is about being so loved and so seen that you never ever have felt this feeling before. This feeling of love...This is ‘For Me You See,’ for Bubba Doo."
Fans, who spotted Bloom in the audience, inferred that Perry was referring to her on-again/off-again boyfriend.
Perry and Bloom officially broke up about a year ago after dating for more than a year.
“We’re friends, it’s good,” Bloom told Elle UK. “We’re all grown-up. She happens to be someone who is very visible, but I don’t think anybody cares about what I’m up to. Nor should they. It’s between us. It’s better to set an example for kids and show that breakups don’t have to be about hate."
Still, the two A-listers have generated rumors over the past few months that they're back together — Perry sported a onesie earlier this month that seemed to be in honor of Bloom and she and Bloom were spotted vacationing together in January in the Maldives.
