In the ever more competitive job market, it's easy to have your resume or application lost in the shuffle. The Job Fair Boot Camp offers basic training to help get you noticed.

The Job Fair Boot Camp is hosted by the Mesa County Workforce Center and is designed to teach successful marketing skills to job seekers.

The camp focuses on four key things job seekers need to know.

  • Translating your skills using the appropriate current terminology.

  • What employers are looking for when reviewing your resume?
  • Answers to questions about applying for a job and the most common application processes.

The camp will be held on September 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Mesa County Workforce Center, 512 29 1/2 Road in Grand Junction. The event is open to the public with veterans given first priority.
