What Will it Be Like to Have Self-Driving Cars in Colorado?
It has been announced that Waymo, a taxi service that uses self-driving cars, will be introduced to Denver, Colorado, as early as next year.

As with any big change, this new and innovative ride service has aspects that will positively impact the city, as well as other aspects that are raising eyebrows.
Colorado's New Self-Driving Cars Will Make a Positive Impact in Some Ways
The cars, which are operated using AI with the help of cameras and sensors, are said to be electric Jaguars. So, in theory, this new fleet of self-driving vehicles will aid in reducing emissions.
In addition, proponents of the self-driving taxi service cite the fact that without a driver, accidents caused by distractions and road rage will be reduced as well.
However, there are plenty of potential downsides to this new method of transport.
Self-Driving Cars in Colorado Could Cause Some Problems
Waymo has been introduced in a number of cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Austin, all of which have warmer climates than Denver and receive considerably less snowfall, leading skeptics to wonder just how well these AI-driven cars will be able to handle winter.
In addition, instances of these self-driving vehicles getting into fender benders have been known to take place in the cities in which they currently operate, though proponents argue that these are minor compared to crashes caused by humans and are possibly just a matter of getting kinks worked out.
