The City of Grand Junction's Parks and Recreation Department is actively seeking an artist to paint a mural that, according to the department's official website, "will celebrate the beauty of the monument and surrounding areas while enhancing community pride."

Where Will the New Grand Junction, Colorado, Mural Be?

The mural will be painted on the HAWK traffic signal box, located northeast of the Colorado National Monument's east entrance, where Monument Road and Monument Trail intersect.
