However, there is a train service in Colorado that takes passengers on a trip from Denver all the way to Utah which proves to be one of the most luxurious of its kind.

What's it Like to Take a Luxury Train Across Colorado?

The company that provides the luxury train ride is known as the Rocky Mountaineer, a Canadian outfit that expanded to Colorado and Utah a couple of years ago.

The trip offered in the Centennial State takes passengers on a two-day trip from Denver to Moab with an overnight stop in Glenwood Springs, allowing for amazing scenery and views that you simply wouldn't find alongside I-70.

In addition, gourmet meals and beverages are offered throughout the trip, similar to what you'd find on an all-inclusive cruise or a fancy resort.

However, this luxury treatment comes with a price tag that reflects the fanciness of the Rocky Mountaineer as tickets for the 2024 season range from $1,600 to $2,269 per person.

Given the premium price for the trip, the Rocky Mountaineer is popular among retirees and for the past two years, has served as a destination attraction for Coloradans and out-of-towners alike.

On the other hand, this service is designed as a unique way for passengers to enjoy the journey more so than the destination, so if your primary goal is simply to get from point A to point B, a more affordable choice is probably the way to go.
