Compared to other states, Michigan, Indiana, and Delaware have an 88% rate of locking their doors; Connecticut is ranked second at 90%, and Georgia is home to the most residents who lock their doors at 93%.

How Often Do States That Border Colorado Lock Their Doors?

Coloradans lock their doors more often than in every other state that shares a border with the Centennial State. For example, 78% of Arizona residents always lock their doors, 75% of New Mexico residents always lock their doors, 73% of Nebraska residents always lock their doors, 70% of Wyoming residents always lock their doors, 65% of Utah residents always lock their doors, and only 60% of Oklahoma residents always lock their doors.
