One of the latest illustrations depicting statistics lists the "drunkest city" in each of the 50 states and the town given this distinction in Colorado has quite the reputation of being especially fond of partying.

Boulder Colorado Named the Drunkest in the State

The information comes from a Facebook page known as Usa Thoughts, a page that frequently shares images of maps much like the one below along with various statistics.

Despite the presence of universities in cities like Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Grand Junction, the city that the University of Colorado calls home, Boulder, is typically thought of as being especially party-friendly.

It should also be noted that the drunkest cities in some of Colorado's neighboring states including Laramie, Wyoming, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Tempe, Arizona are also considered to be college towns.

If you look long enough at the graphic, you may notice a touch of humor as instead of listing the drunkest city in the state of Wisconsin, the map simply reads, "all of them."

This choice of words can actually be supported by a similar graphic from Usa Thoughts which lists the drunkest counties in the United States.

As you can see above, a staggering 41 out of 50 of the drunkest counties in the country happen to be in Wisconsin, with the remaining nine located fairly close by in Iowa, Minnesota, and the Dakotas.
