In case you're not familiar, there's a reality show on the Paramount Network by the name of Bar Rescue; a show that sets out to help struggling bars across the country become more successful than ever.

Host Jon Taffer has been called "the Gordon Ramsay of the bar and nightclub business" and, made evident by a newly released teaser, visited a struggling bar in Colorado not too long ago which will be featured on the popular show.

The bar that will be appearing on the reality show is, (or, as it would appear, was) known as Colorado Cork and Keg. However, a simple Google search tells us that the bar now goes by Valerie's Brewhouse, perhaps directly because of appearing on the show.

The bar is located at 971 Park Street in Castle Rock and is owned by husband and wife Ed and Valerie Komperda. The Komperdas' story goes that Ed was sick of office work and the family chose to move to picturesque Colorado to purchase a bar and give their children a new life in their "happy place."

However, with little experience in bar or restaurant management, the couple found themselves in over their heads and up to their eyeballs in debt.

In fact, the couple has said that before appearing on the show, they were over $30,000 in debt and the bar itself was losing them around $4000 each month, so closure seemed inevitable.

However, it appears that appearing on Bar Rescue did the trick as not only is the bar still around, but it would also seem that it has a new name and likely much more, as we'll undoubtedly see on the show.
