Committee Finds Colorado’s Best Tap Water
Colorado has many different world class establishments you can visit for some great stuff.
For example, you can check out what Yelp considers to be the best restaurant in the entire state, Rootstalk. It’s pretty clear from the reviews themselves that you’re going to get one of the finer dining experiences out there.
However, if you really want to take a slice out of the finer things in life, you can go to Guard and Grace, which was voted to be the best steakhouse in all of Colorado.
There, you can get some of the finest cuts of meat not only in the state, but in the entire country.
While Colorado has some incredible establishments like Guard and Grace and Rootstalk, it’s worth checking in to see what places in Colorado are amongst the best for a much simpler category; tap water.
Where Does Colorado’s Tap Water Rank Amongst the Entire Country?
If there’s one thing I love about living in Northern Colorado, it has to be the tap water.
From my own personal experience, I’ve tried tap water from tons of different states through my travels.
Many times, it gets the job done, but there have been some moments where the water quality subpar.
From my personal experience, Northern Colorado has some of the best tap water I’ve had.
However, my testimony does not stack up with some rankings.
For example, U.S. News ranks Colorado as having the 33rd best drinking water quality in the country, which means we have a lot of catching up to do.
Denver Has the Best Tap Water in Colorado
Each year, the American Water Works Association Rocky Mountain Section holds the Rocky Mountain Water Conference, and they do a taste test each year to find which city has the best tap water in Colorado.
According to KUNC, who was at the event, after a lot of drama and deliberation, Denver pulled away as having the best tap water in the state.
Taking the other two spots in the top three were Louisville and Broomfield.
Personally, I’m a little surprised places like Fort Collins did not make the cut, given I personally love the tap water here.
