20 Colorado Restaurants Customers Say Are Worth An Hour’s Drive
These restaurants are so good, we don't mind the drive. What meal do they serve that keeps you coming back? Open our station app and share a recorded message or app chat.
We recently turned this question over to you on social media, and now we can't wait to hit the road to try out some of these mouthwatering restaurants for ourselves.
Colorado Restaurants Worth the Drive
You don't have to drive to Denver to find an amazing restaurant in Colorado. In fact, you might try to drive the other way on purpose to avoid the crowds. Western Colorado is home to some pretty incredible restaurants like Cattlemen's in Loma, The Winery in Grand Junction, and Ted Nelson's Steakhouse in Montrose to name a few. What places can you think of outside of town?
Western Slope Scenery
Our friend Jerome told us that one of his favorite meals is served at Blondies in Naturita, Colorado. This means he gets to drive through Colorado's Unaweep Canyon, through the scenic community of Gateway, and then off to Blondies. This is a brilliant suggestion because you can enjoy The Unaweep-Tabeguache Scenic and Historic Byway AND have a great meal.
Even Less Than One Hour
Shout-outs to our friends in Delta and Montrose. Both communities offer excellent meals plus a scenic drive around Colorado's Grand Mesa. Our listener Shilo told us to try Davitos in Delta. Angelina told us to try A&M Creations in Delta. Our girl Bea says to check out Camp Robber in Montrose.
Keep going to see more great recommendations that are worth the drive.
