Grand Junction's Ralph Stocker Stadium
Ralph Stocker Stadium is owned by the city of Grand Junction, Colorado. The stadium opened in 1949 and uses synthetic turf. With a capacity for 8000+ fans, Stocker Stadium is home to the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks, several High School football teams, and the Western Colorado Marching Band Festival.
What makes Ralph Stocker Stadium one of the best places for football today includes the $8.3 million in renovations in 2011 that improved both Stocker Stadium and Suplizio Field. These improvements included adding TV-ready lights, additional bleachers and seating, a new press box, a luxury suite, improvements to restrooms and concession stands, and an expanded concourse.
