Some call Powderhorn a hidden ski resort as the massive crowds that visit the slopes on the Front Range don't know how cool it is. Powderhorn Mountain is one of the best places for beginners to learn to ski, but that does not mean it is a giant bunny hill.
Powderhorn Mountain is home to 63 ski runs. Around 30% of the runs are advanced or expert level including Cannonball (a gritty headwall run), Blunder (black diamond), Vertical Drop (black diamond with a 600-foot vertical drop), and the 3-jump line at Upper Peace Park (terrain park).
