With the Denver Broncos finishing the 2024 regular season 10-7, and gaining at least a playoff berth, it would seem they've found their next great quarterback. With Bo Nix, we should expect to see more wide receivers having 1,000- yard seasons.

Since the Denver Broncos inception, there have been a "baker's dozen" wide receivers to achieves over 1,000 yards in a season.

It's a great achievement for any receiver; considering all the receivers that Broncos have had, and only 13 to gain over 1,000 yards. these players are exceptional.

13 Broncos Receivers Have Had 1,000+ Yard Seasons

While watching the Broncos blowout Kansas City on Sunday, January 5, 2024, there was a statistic about Tampa Bay's Mike Evans: He'd achieved having 11 consecutive seasons with over 1,000 yards.

That got me curious as to how many Denver Broncos receivers have seen over 1,000 receiving yards in a season? I went to ProFootballReference.com to find out. There are 13 players listed as "WR" that have had great 1,000+ yard seasons.

Some names you'll recognize, some you many not. A lot of times, a player does great and then gets traded before they have another season with the Denver Broncos. Other times, those great players stick with the team for several 1,000-yard seasons.

With Denver struggling to find the "right" quarterback after Peyton Manning's retirement, a Bronco wide receiver garnering 1,000+ yards in a season, was all but futile. Then, here comes along the rookie, Bo Nix.

Nix's rookie season was not only a winning season, but a record-breaker as well. He set the NFL record for most touchdowns for a rookie season (19), and broke Peyton Manning's Broncos record for single-game completion percentage: 89.7% (Peyton's was 89.2%.)

Here's to more seasons with Nix throwing to great receivers who get 1,000-yard seasons.
