Noodles & Company began in Denver back in 1995, and still has its headquarters in Colorado. To think that they'd have to close one of their Colorado locations seems sad, but the state does have a lot.

There are nearly 500 locations of Noodles & Company and/or Noodles World Kitchens across America; many cities have multiple locations. America does love a good pasta dish, but if the company is looking to cut costs, something's got to give.

Will they be closing (at least) one of their spots here in Colorado?

Noodles & Company Closures Coming to Colorado?

It was in August of 2024, that Noodles & Company announced that they were planning on closing some underperforming locations. Sure, 20 closures out of 474 locations is a very small fraction, but it's never good to see people lose employment.

Colorado Has Nearly 60 Noodles & Company Locations

When you see that Noodles & Company has 58 locations in Colorado, and you know that they're looking to close 20 stores, It's easy to picture the "number pushers" pointing to Colorado.

Loveland, and Greeley for example, each have two Noodles & Company spots. Do those cities need two? If their sales numbers are good, great. However, if they're slumping, it is easy to see the company saying, "Maybe just one in that town is plenty."

MORE Colorado & Food: This Local Mexican Spot is One of the Best

After opening in 2008, Las Palmeras Mexican Restaurant has become one of the area's very best locally-owned places to get delicious, and authentic Mexican food. We found this place by accident years ago while driving hungry down Main Street in Longmont and have been regulars ever since. The owner, the staff, the food, and the drinks are all top notch and that's what makes this one of Colorado's top choices for delicious Mexican food.
