Fort Collins is losing a music venue with hopes that the old location will become a new home to enjoy live music and other live entertainment.

The Atrium at the Alley Cat has been open for four years. The folks over there announced that they were going to shut down their doors for good on July 12.

Before we continue, we want to emphasize that Alley Cat will not be affected by the closure.

Since the announcement, the Fort Collins venue has had a few events. They will continue to do so while they have the space.

Atrium announced that they were planning to sell, but they wanted to sell the space as a music venue to continue contributions to the Fort Collins music scene.

Latest Announcement From Fort Collins Venue

The Atrium in Fort Collins is still hosting events while they look for a new owner of the space. They previously were exclusively selling the venue to a person who intended to continue the Atrium's legacy of being a place for music lovers. Unfortunately, it appears that has changed. According to a social media post, the bar and music venue is now open to their space being used for more than a music venue.

This provides them with more opportunities to sell the space. Here is some of the post:

Our goal has been to sell the Atrium as a music venue but if we can't find someone we think can succeed we will expand the search to include someone who is looking for a turn-key restaurant.
