What Puts Breckenridge Ski Resort On New List of ‘Best Amusement Parks?’

It's one thing to see a list of "America's 10 Most Popular Amusement Parks" and not find Denver's included; it's a whole other thing to look further, and find Colorado's Breckenridge among the "Top 50."

Who Says Breckenridge is Better Than Elitch's as a Great Amusement Park?

We received a press release in regards to research that SodukoBliss.com did, where they compiled search data about what amusement parks were garnering the most attention along with the strongest feedback from customers.

The categories they looked at:

• Amount of Instagram Hashtags.
• Average amount of searches in the U.S.
• Amount of 5-Star Trip Advisor reviews.

Three simple items, yet Breckenridge Ski Resort actually made the "Top 50" at #33, but  Elitch's and Lakeside, among other amusement parks in the state, did not.

What Could Put Breckenridge on the List of "50 Most Popular Amusement Parks?"

While if you ask Google is Breckenridge Ski Resort is an amusement park, you're told 'No," not a traditional one. They do, however, in the summer have fun family things to do at what they call Epic Discovery at the resort. Things such as:

• Gold Runner [Mountain] Coaster.
• Bungee Trampoline.
• Alpiner Challenge Course (ropes course.)
• More..

When planning a summer visit, it is worth looking beyond ticket prices alone. Search interest and social media buzz can show which parks people are most excited about, but five-star reviews are a useful sign of whether visitors felt the experience actually lived up to the hype.

I'm not going to make this about how great Breck is in summer. it's not an advertisement. But, apparently, people love to get out their IG stories, give them great reviews and search "Breckenridge in summer." Those who got to Elitch's and Lakeside need to get their phones out, more.
