Tyler Nance grew up in Lamar, Missouri, on a fourth-generation farm that raised cattle.  After graduating from high school, Nance worked as a welder in Kentucky, in his spare time, got a guitar, and learned to play. He then moved to Nashville to develop his songwriting and recording career as an artist. Tyler Nance released his first single, "Bad News," in August 2024.
