Pandemic Donuts Started During COVID

When the service industry shut down from the pandemic in 2020, Gabirelle, a pastry chef, and Michael, a long-time worker in the coffee industry, decided to make their own way with a donut company in Denver, Colorado.

For the past five years, Pandemic Donuts has been popular among Coloradans. Sadly, all good things must come to an end, as they say. Pandemic Donuts announced on Instagram that after nearly six years, the donut shop was closing.

While information as to why Pandemic Donuts is closing is unclear, Michael and Gabrielle had a lot of great things to say about the experience that was once just a small side hustle.

We shared early mornings, sugar-covered aprons, laughs over coffee, and countless moments with so many of you who supported us through it all. You kept us going through the highs and lows, and we will never stop being grateful for that.

The couple said on Instagram, announcing the closure of Pandemic Donuts.

What’s Next for Pandemic Donuts Owners?

While I never got the opportunity to try any of the tasty creations that Pandemic Donuts made, they certainly did look delicious. We certainly hope that the donut dream is still alive and well in Michael and Gabrielle, because I would love to get a taste of one of these amazing donuts.
