
Luna’s Tacos and Tequila to Close Greeley Location
When it comes to restaurants in Northern Colorado, one has been a crowd favorite in Greeley for the past seven years. Soon, this place will no longer exist in the heart of downtown Greeley.
A Facebook post let fans of the restaurant know that they will be open through the holidays, but shortly after, the taco and tequila restaurant will close its doors for good. Luna's Tacos and Tequila has been a destination restaurant for many in Northern Colorado and on the Front Range.

I have had the pleasure of being able to have a few margaritas and tasty tacos at Luna's a time or two, and I will be sad to see them leave Greeley.
Passing the Torch to Tres Amigos
After seven amazing years in downtown Greeley, we're excited to be passing the torch to our friends at Tres Amigos, an amazing restaurant Group out of Cheyenne.

Earlier this year, Luna's Tacos and Tequila closed its downtown Greeley location for undisclosed reasons at the end of January, citing that the restaurant and its staff needed to reenergize, refocus, rejuvenate, and come back stronger. A few months later, Luna's Tacos and Tequila reopened its doors to customers on April 1, 2025.

Before permanently closing, Luna's Tacos and Tequila will be bringing back some of its original favorites to the menu. Brussels Sprouts with chorizo and cotjia, the OG pork belly taco, and cocktails like the Starry Night and the Atlas Smash from the very first menu.
Windsor Location Will Stay Open
Fans of Luna's will still be able to enjoy the restaurant at the Windsor location, and catering will still be available from Luna's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. See the announcement post of Luna's Tacos and Tequila closing the Greeley location below.
