
Denver Could Land Major IndyCar Race by 2027
There is nothing that gets the adrenaline pumping quite like a race. One of the fastest races of them all could soon be coming to Colorado, as early as 2027. The Mile High City of Denver is currently being pitched to host an annual circuit race in the heart of the city.
Denver Could Host IndyCar Race as Soon as 2027
According to 9News, the IndyCar circuit could be coming to a track that would race around Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. This multi-day race could be revving engines in the Mile High City as soon as 2027, and happening annually through 2030 with a four-year commitment to host the race in Colorado.

As of right now, we know that event organizers have proposed a 1.8-mile street circuit track that would loop around Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. This would be in addition to the four pedestrian bridges, parking lots, fan viewing areas, and unspecified hospitality activities that would take place during the Indy Grand Prix in Denver.
Economic Impact Could Reach $80 Million
If Colorado were to see the Indy Grand Prix become reality, it would be one of the 18 cities in North America with an IndyCar race, which could mean big bucks for Denver's economic impact. The presentation showed the potential of generating $60 to $80 million for the city and county of Denver.

Personally, I think it would be pretty awesome to see an IndyCar Grand Prix in Denver. It would be a great event to see come to Colorado, and the money it would bring into the state would be pretty nice, too.
