Have You Seen This Weird Balloon Floating Over Northern Colorado?
This morning, I did what I do every morning when waking up. I hopped on Facebook and one of the groups I belong to had a bunch of photos asking what the strange thing in the sky was floating around Northern Colorado.
There is one weird-looking balloon just hanging out in the sky and it is perplexing Coloradans. It's been a few hours since I first put eyes on the mysterious balloon and it is still hanging around Northern Colorado. Is it a weather balloon? Is it another Chinese spy balloon? We need answers.

No, Balloon Boy has not returned to Fort Collins. I know many of you may have that thought in your minds, but it's not him. According to 9 News, the big balloon is a Statollite high-altitude balloon that is carrying a payload for NASA.
The high-altitude balloon belongs to a company called World View Enterprises and it is being used to measure solar radiation above the 40th parallel. The high-altitude balloon can stay in the sky for up to two weeks. World View Enterprises told 9 News that the Stratollite high-altitude balloon was launched from Northern Arizona last Saturday.
So if you get the chance to take a break from work today and step outside, look to the sky. You may be able to see this rarity in the Northern Colorado skies known as a Stratollite high-altitude balloon for yourself.
