There are certain places in this world and this country known for their food. There are many people who enjoy eating more than anything else. We call these people foodies, and they are often on a mission to find great meals and new things to eat. For those able to travel, there are certain places that foodies like to go and enjoy amazing meals, but sometimes, you don't have to travel far to find a good foodie city. One of the best foodie cities is in Colorado, but it isn't the only one to visit in the Centennial State.

Some people eat because they have to for survival, some eat only when they are hungry, and some eat because they enjoy it and it is a passion of theirs. When you think of the best cities in America to eat, which ones come to mind first? WalletHub recently revealed a list of the best foodie cities in America and ranked them using categories such as affordability, diversity, accessibility, and quality. Using these criteria, it was determined that Miami is the best city for foodies in America, with Portland coming in at second, and San Francisco coming in at third. It is surprising to not see some cities known for their food like New York, Chicago, or New Orleans in the top three. Miami is number one in diversity, accessibility, and quality, and Nashua, New Hampshire, is number one in affordability, despite ranking 82nd on the overall list.
The Best Foodie Cities in Colorado

Colorado did crack the top ten, with Denver coming in at 10th. The Mile High City is 93rd in affordability, meaning the food is a tad expensive, but is 10th in diversity, accessibility, and quality. Denver was not the only city to make the list, though, and Aurora made the list, coming in at 52nd. Aurora is the opposite of Denver in that they rank better in affordability, coming in at 17th, and worse in diversity, accessibility, and quality, coming in at 68th. Lastly, Colorado Springs is also on the list, ranking 70th. The city is 79th in affordability and 63rd in diversity, accessibility, and quality.
