This Colorado Bakery Is America’s Sweetest Hidden Gem
When I was a child, I used to only think of bakeries that had great donuts. I was a donut fiend as a kid. Let’s be honest. Who am I kidding? I am still a donut fiend. That is why we have ranked the best donut shops in Northern Colorado.
As I matured and my palate developed, I started trying other items at bakeries. I fell in love. Pastries, cupcakes, pies, quiches, and specialty breads are the way to my heart. I am always on the hunt for a great sourdough, by the way.

I live in Northern Colorado. To be honest, we are pretty spoiled with great bakeries around here. One bakery in Northern Colorado is gaining a lot of national recognition and is one of the top must-visit bakeries in the nation.
Colorado's Best Bakery Is in Longmont
247 Tempo put out a list of the best bakeries in every single state. I was caught a little by surprise to see that Babette's Bakery in Longmont was rated the best in Colorado. That is in no way, shape, or form a slight to Babette's Bakery.
I just have not heard of this bakery yet and I am a little embarrassed.

I do not make it out to Longmont as much as I should. However, this is a great excuse to make a trip. It is also a good excuse to check out the renovated and updated Johnson's Station.
