It’s Time To Shimmy To Shake Up Domestic Violence In Mesa County

The Latimer House of Grand Junction helps victims of domestic violence. This is a serious problem that affects more people than you think.

A fundraiser called "Shimmy For The Shelter" is happening on June 4th. This event will be featuring a Middle Eastern Style Dance Show, along with a Mediterranean Meal.

Last years Shimmymob team event raised $10,500! This is a worldwide event, that not only brings awareness here in the Grand Valley but all around the world. Our local team of talented individuals donates their time to help out the Latimer House, but they could always use additional volunteers.

Along with a silent auction, this benefit will not only help educate and help those who suffer from domestic violence, but it also provides a place of safety. Get involved, and help those who suffer from domestic violence.
