The Pine Gulch fire has been burning for nearly a month now and has been affecting many of us. We've seen ash fall from the sky as if it were snowing, and many of us have been experiencing health issues because of the smoke.
I have two swamp coolers and have basically been given the option to either leave them off and sweat like a pig or keep my house at a comfortable temperature and experience issues such as headaches and nausea. Like me, many of Grand Junction residents have been experiencing nasty side effects because of the smoke.
