It's funny how extreme pain can create such long-lasting memories. Most people can remember and tell you about the most excruciating pain of their life. Pain has a way of leaving a long-lasting impression.

Remember Clubber Lang's Prediction of Pain?

Remember the line in Rocky III when Clubber Lang is asked for a prediction in his bout with Rocky Balboa and he says "Prediction?" and then looks at the camera and replies, "Pain." It makes me smile every time I see it.

But, pain is nothing to smile about that's for sure. We spend a good amount of time trying to avoid pain and trying to get out of pain. There are countless pain relievers that promise to take away your pain - all you have to do is swallow the pill. Sometimes, however, there's nothing you can do but suffer.
