Kids all across Grand Junction and the Western Slope are screaming for joy right now as the Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool is opening for the season this upcoming Saturday, May 22nd. The fantastic news about the pool opening was recently released by Grand Junction's Parks and Recreation and there are a series of fun event planned this summer.

This means the pool will open earlier than last year and the staff has been busy at work preparing for the opening and the thousands of kids who will be flooding the pool in just a few days. The pool will be open for public swim, lap swim, and there will be swimming lessons available for those who want to sign up.

What Special Events are Planned for Grand Junction's Lincoln Park-Moyer Pool in 2021?

On Monday, May 24th there will be a School's out party, on the 4th of July there will be a pool party, and on August 6th there is a back-to-school party planned. The public swim will be open each day beginning at 1:30 p.m. Plus the waterslide and splash pad closed in 2020 due to the pandemic will be reopened. The splash pad is included in your admission cost, the water slide is an additional $2.50 per rider.
