10 Things To Know About Grand Junction, Colorado’s Parade of Lights In 2021
Dear Grand Junction Parade of Lights, we missed you so much last year. Welcome back!
Could We Possibly Have A Normal Holiday Season?
The holiday season is fast approaching and it is with great anticipation and excitement we welcome a Christmas season filled with the traditional events we have come to know and love this time of year. That means Christmas concerts and performances, movies, special holiday events, and a parade.
The Annual Tree Lighting Is Back
One of the events we missed last year was the downtown Grand Junction tree lighting. This has become such a popular event over the years to launch the holiday season, and it was so disappointing to not have it in 2020. Well, the good news is there will be a tree lighting this year at 4th and Main in downtown Grand Junction on November 20. There will be some fantastic live music, and Santa Claus will be on hand to light the tree in the Wells Fargo courtyard and visit with all the good little boys and girls.
Record-Breaking Crowd This Year?
But, the big event that everyone is waiting for is the Parade of Lights Since there was no parade last year, I believe we could have a record-breaking crowd in downtown Grand Junction. We have a great parade theme this year, and it feels like Grand Junction is so anxious to return to normal and get out and do events. The Christmas light lovers will be out in mass to celebrate Christmas on Main Street.
