Grand Junction Getting Ax Throwing Facility
After being inside for weeks social distancing, this is the kind of news that we needed. I saw a few friends over the weekend like this new Facebook page, and it was called Axeology. With a name like that it didn't take long to figure out the kind of business that was soon going to be opening their doors in Grand Junction.
I'm so excited to see Grand Junction have their own ax-throwing facility. These fun businesses have been gaining popularity across the country in the last few years and having been to a few of them before, they are truly fun for almost all ages.
While we all think about the potential danger of throwing axes inside with people next to you, they really are extremely safe. I've never seen or heard of anyone getting hurt at any facility like this unless people are being careless.
Also, after looking through the Axelogy Facebook page they will also be offering Corn Hole/ Bag Toss, Arcade Games, and even a toddler tumbling section.
The doors are opening later this month (May 2020) according to a Facebook post made over the weekend. With the location of Axeology being 2487 Industrial Blvd in Grand Junction.
If you haven't tried throwing axes before I can promise you will have a good time and after a few throws, you're going to be hooked. It is so much fun to meet up with friends and throw some axes to relieve stress.
