KREX reports that for the first time this year, gas prices have officially dropped below $2.00 a gallon and people in Grand Junction are happy. According to Connie Monroe:
Last year at this time, Grand Junction travelers were paying almost a dollar more a gallon than right now.
With the lowering of prices, many more people have shown interest in traveling for the holidays.
