POLL: The Quest for Grand Junction’s Best Dentist
I'm searching for the best dentist in Grand Junction. Can you assist me on my quest?
It's been a while, too long in fact, since I've been to the dentist. I certainly don't mean to gross you out. My old dentist was great, but he retired and rode off into the sunset. Can you point me towards the next best candidate?
Why now?
Well, regrettably, this quest was not inspired by the desire for a responsible, routine checkup. I need to find a good dentist, and there's a certain urgency to this search. A situation is requesting, no, demanding immediate attention.
What kind of dentist are you searching for?
At this point, I don't give a rat's patootie. It doesn't matter if he or she is a dentist who normally treats little tiny kids. Balloons, bright wallpaper, and stuffed animals don't bother me. Agonizing toothaches, on the other, bother me.
It doesn't matter if the dentist uses needles, laughing gas, spinal taps, etc. If the dentist can fix a tooth, or in this case, a crown, they are more than qualified.
What criteria must they meet?
The ideal dentist must meet exactly two criteria:
- They accept my insurance (Cigna).
I take it back, they have to meet precisely one criterion. If you recommend them, and if they accept my insurance, they're the right person for the job.
Why is this going to a vote?
I trust you far more than I trust Google Reviews, Yelp!, or any other rating online. You and I have similar tastes. Obviously, we enjoy the same music. More than anything, you have a strong personal knowledge of the dentists in Grand Junction, and your experiences are of great value.
There is a very legitimate reason why we do these votes.
There is a reason the crew at the studio keeps creating these online polls. Your knowledge and experience count. When we ask you "Where's the best place to buy a new truck?", we are sincerely interested in your response. You've pointed me in the right direction dozens of times, and you're always correct.
Please vote for your favorite dentist. It would be ideal if they were in Grand Junction or within a short drive of GJ city limits. The poll will start with a long list of dentists currently practicing in the area. If I missed someone, please write their name in, and it will be added to the list. Given the urgency of this matter, voting will end Friday night, March 5, at midnight. Thank you in advance for helping me out.
