Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park Saying Goodbye to Their Tram
Glenwood Springs Adventure Cavern is saying out with the old and in with the new. This is how they're celebrating their old tram and welcoming their new one.
The Iron Mountain Tramway has been giving people rides for the past 15 years. Glenwood Springs Adventure Cavern is saying ' thanks for the ride' and celebrating with a party.
Their 'Goodbye Tram Party!' is Sunday, October 28th. According to their Facebook:
We're throwing it back to 2003 with $10 tram rides; there will be cake, drawings, prizes and free refreshments. We will be grilling up $1 hot dogs in the plaza, where you'll also find photo ops signs to commemorate the old tram and celebrate the new tram!
I've been on the Iron Mountain Tramway once at Glenwood Springs Adventure Cavern. The current tram has amazing views but was a bit too slow making its way to the top (or the bottom.)
Their newest tram is a 'new 'state-of-the-art aerial tramway' according to their Facebook. I'm sure the new tram will give people lots of breathtaking rides for years to come.
