Fruita Shooting Death was ‘Drug-Related’
27-year-old Joshua Chasteen was shot in the chest and killed on Saturday evening, in Fruita, Colorado. Chasteen's close friend, Thomas Stimbert stated that Chasteen had left to purchase drugs and was robbed at gunpoint.
Since moving to Grand Junction, I have always been puzzled and wonder if we have a drug problem. Even with the legalization of marijuana, has this led to situations such as this? Or is this a continuing problem that needs to be dealt with? I would enjoy your thoughts.
