A Colorado Coffee Wine Bar Announces Grand Reopening
It was a sad day when this coffee shop and wine bar announced that they'd be closing, but they did say a new owner would be coming in. Coming in mid-May of 2023, customers can come back in and enjoy coffee, wine, and more than before.
For six years one couple owned this shop, delighting customers with great coffee along with beer and wine (at night.) New ownership is taking over, leaving the name the same while adding a bit more to what was.
Genoa Coffee & Wine in Fort Collins, Colorado, dates back to 2012, with the most recent owners having it for six years. Soon, a brand-new owner will officially take over the cute establishment at Rigden Farm Plaza North (The Shops at Ridgen Farm), south of Drake on Timberline.

Genoa has always been a very low-key but very popular place for gathering with friends for refreshment, nourishment, and fun. Having been closed for more than two months for a little freshening up of the place, the new owner is ready to re-introduce folks to the "new" Genoa Coffee & Wine.
According to press material, the new owner Kevin (above on left) will be having the grand re-opening for Genoa on May 15, 2023.
WHAT ADDITION/CHANGES ARE COMING TO THE NEW GENOA?
- New coffee
- Homemade bagels
- Breakfast bagel from Consuelo's
- Pastries and desserts from Retreat Bakery Bar
- Weekly lunch menu updates
- Walrus Ice Cream
- Merchandise from local shops
The coffee shop will still, of course, offer local beers and wines, which has made it so popular over the years.
It'll be great to have it back.
