Fifth Harmony Says They’ll Keep Group Name Despite Camila’s Departure
After Camila Cabello announced she was leaving Fifth Harmony last year, everyone wondered what the group's future was. And more importantly, are they going to keep the name?
Considering there are only four members left, it would only be a logical question, right? It seems that the ladies don't think so. They finally set the record straight and explained why they're sticking with Fifth Harmony despite the fact they're a quartet now.
"It was obviously a thought," Lauren Jauregui told MTV News, “because it was a prevalent thing that there’s four of us not five. Regardless, we were all very united on the fact that we didn’t want to change the name.”
"Fifth Harmony is the name that we grew up with and we worked for and it’s our brand," he continued. "It’s who we are. It’s our whole entire moments. It’s what we spent five years on."
And if Harmonizers are still wondering if there will ever be a fifth member, Dinah Jane Hansen has the perfect solution.
“The fans named us Fifth Harmony,” she said. “And now they’re the fifth member.”
