Not exactly a shock to anyone living in Grand Junction or on the Western Slope that it is always construction season in Colorado. It seems like no matter what time of year it is, there is always a project that is being worked on. It's never the project that we want to be worked on because normally it is slowing us down but you can always find a project being worked on. It was the city of Grand Junction that released information on eleven different projects being worked on currently, and these could affect your time in traffic.

Riverfront at Dos Rios Phase 2 Project - Access to the bike park should reopen this week from Riverside Parkway. River Front Trail will remain closed through early April, detour around construction activities.

Ridges Irrigation Replacement Project - Pipeline construction is completed, asphalt patching and concrete replacement will be done by mid-April

Lorey Drive Improvement Project - Lorey Drive closed to traffic west of 1st Street, business and residential access remain open. The project should be done by mid-April

G Road Irrigation Project - Road will be closed on and off between 24 Road and 24 1/2 Road, resident access permitted, alternate route advised, the project should be completed in mid-April.
