Durango Colorado has been full of rumors and speculation all throughout the community after the Durango High School boys cross country team suspended seven students for alcohol and marijuana use during a trip to Arizona.

According to the Durango Herald head coach David McMillan stated:

This has been the second time that there has been a suspension of members of this DHS athletic team for marijuana usage since the beginning of the season which began on started Aug. 24.

As for the punishment, six of the DHS junior varsity boys received a three day suspension, two days out of school, one day in school.

According to the Herald the team will be able to continue with business as usual.
