Colorado has laws. Heck, every state does. Some of these laws are real head scratchers and make you wonder why the law was put there in the first place.

Sometimes you have to wonder why there are certain laws in place. Colorado is no different. Dumblaws.com brings to light some questionable laws that make you really wonder what were people thinking when they made them law.

For instance, did you know that in the state of Colorado, even though it says not to, you can legally rip off the tags on your mattresses? That is what I am talking about. Laws that make you scratch your head. Let me run a few more by you.

You are not allowed in the state of colorado to throw a missile at a car. What? I don't know about you, but first of all, I do not have a missile just laying around, and even if I did, you seriously think I could lift it? LOL, I think not.

Ok, riddle me this. In Denver, the law states the following.

Seriously?

Can dogs read? The last time I checked, mine has a hard enough time letting me know when he has to go outside! If my dog could read, I would be rich that is for sure.

I think the funniest law I found on this crazy list is in Vail, you are not allowed to crash into obstacles while you are skiing. Really, last time I tried to ski, people were lucky I didn't run them down, as I am not that good. So I can only imagine if I did have control in a situation like that. It would avoid not only obstacles but just problems in general.

Do you think there are laws here in Grand Junction that is strange or unusual? I would love to hear about them.
