Put an Old Bike to Good Use

Downtown Grand Junction's Brown Cycles presents "Gear Up for Zoe House." The Brown Cycles official Facebook page states:

Donate your old bike and get free tacos! Bring you bike to Brown Cycles and help the Zoe House provide residence and services for youth made homeless by domestic violence.

A Little More Info About Zoe House

According to thehousegj.org, Zoe House is a 14-bed transitional housing program that provides housing and voluntary services to youth ages 18-24 and their dependents made homeless by intimate partner violence.

This event is coming to Brown Cycles at 549 Main Street in Grand Junction.

This sounds like an amazing effort. If you're like me, you probably have an old bike or two taking up space in the garage or shed. Why not put them to good use. When it's all said and done, you'll be helping out a fantastic local organization and scoring a free lunch in the process.
