According to an article in the Denver Post, the Pepsi Center is installing walk-through metal detectors for all games and concerts.

The Denver Post also reports the metal detectors will be installed by September 18, which is the date set for the first Colorado Avalanche pre-season game.

The Denver Post cites the story from a news release sent by Kroenke Sports and Entertainment. Kroenke reportedly says they are installing the metal detectors in an effort to ensure the best safety standards for all events.

According to the Denver Post, the Pepsi Center will be the first professional venue in Colorado to install permanent detectors.
