A giant sinkhole opened up in a suburb of Denver that almost swallowed an SUV. Check out the crazy photo.

This giant sinkhole, measuring 15-feet deep, opened up in Lafayette, Colo. on Monday (Jan. 12) morning nearly swallowing this SUV.

The area around the sinkhole was built over the old Simpson coal mines in Boulder County.

This is the largest sinkhole in Lafayette history.
