A Forbes list based off of 2018 statistics revealed that the Denver Broncos would lose $162 million if the stadium remains empty in 2020.

The money that stands to be lost comes from ticket revenue, sponsors, parking, merchandise and concessions.

The Broncos released their 2020 season schedule about two weeks ago, but there's no word yet on whether or not they'll be filling the stadium, according to the Denver Post.

There could be some options, though, other than the team playing for a completely empty stadium. The Miami Dolphins have put together a social-distancing plan that invites 15,000 fans to join the team for home games.
